Elementary Math, Math, Summer Conferences

What happens in Vegas, should NOT stay in Vegas!

The saying usually goes, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!” but we don’t think that’s appropriate next  week at SDE’s National Conference in Las Vegas. Over 6,000 administrators and teachers coming from all over the USA and other countries will be attending a  variety of fun-filled, engaging, and thought-provoking sessions. Those in attendance are so LUCKY to be able to attend such a great conference. We hope attendees will take back and SHARE everything they learn in Vegas with both students and colleagues in their building.

Kristin and I are thrilled to be presenting again this year. We absolutely LOVE working with teachers and administrators throughout one of our favorite weeks.. Not only do we share ideas, but we both learn so much by networking with some of our favorite teachers and  presenters, as well as meeting new colleagues. Below are the times and places you can find us throughout the week.

(Kristin, Emily, Shannon Samulski, and Eliza Thomas)
Just a few math presenter friends reconnecting in Las Vegas.

Please let us know if you are coming because we would love to find time to meet you in person–maybe even sit by the pool and enjoy a beverage together! When Kristin’s not presenting, that’s probably where you will find her 🙂 . If you haven’t registered yet, and would like to, it’s NOT too late! Go to:  https://bit.ly/2DfIUHX. We would LOVE to see you there!

  1. Looks like a great week full of great sessions. And…you’re right…we want those ideas to leave Vegas and be spread around! I always enjoyed presenting but also loved talking with participating and learning new ideas myself.

    1. Thank you so very much! That means more than you know. Please let Kristin or I know if we can help you in any way. We had a long talk today about how to better help teachers throughout the year in a better, more meaningful manner. Stay tuned!
